Mini Quilts

Seeing what some other fave bloggers were doing for the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI), I thought it would be fun to try my hand at making mini quilts. This idea did not get put into action until I was cleaning up the heap o’ scraps on the sewing table one day. These small projects (AAQI max size is a mere 9″ x 12″) are so refreshing to throw together as a break from working on larger projects. And what a fun way to use up a few scraps! (AAQI minis do not have to be abstract… that’s just how I like to do them, so far).
