Basting Assistance

This morning I basted the baby quilt version of my Gift Wrap design (yes, there will be a pattern) … with the usual helper.

My basting pins live in a lovely red velvet heart-shaped box (asouvenir from a long-ago Valentine’s Day) with a sequined top and a very tempting tassel.

This sort of behavior has been known to result in a massive pin-spill, but we avoided mishap and got the basting done.

This cute baby quilt is my intended finish for March. Linking up to a Lovely Year of Finishes.

What’s your March quilting goal?

Wish I could see your lovely quilt better. But I’m going to find out what it looks like at the end of the month. I’m finishing a BOM project from Quilt Story this month.

I’ll show it off with better pics when it’s done (soon, I hope!)

Looks like a gorgeous quilt (and helper)! I have similar issues with my little assistant.
