Rachel over at Stitched in Color has presented a tempting fabric challenge featuring 2013′s color of the year: “Emerald”. Usually I avoid this sort of time-sink, but today I succumbed. Above and below, my take on “emerald” and how I would play with it, given free reign in a certain online fabric store:
Some of these lovelies are already hanging out in my stash, and others have left remnants in the scrap bin. If by some lucky chance one of these mosaics gets the most votes, I’ll happily welcome the promised prize of a half-yard bundle into the studio.
