As promised, better views of quilted pillow covers in the background here. The first is a charming “Friendship Star” that was the Bloggers Block of the Month for last October. Hey, at least it got turned into a finished pillow cover before an entire year had gone by (barely). I upsized the original 8″ block design and added some borders. For this next one I combined four of the BoM January block, and tweaked the design to add a narrow solid gray border around the “hourglass” shapes.
You might recall I wasn’t in love with this in progress… until I put the final border on and suddenly it all “worked.” Gotta love when that happens! Etsy listing for this one is here.
