This weekend I finally got two more NYB blocks done for my “summer” quilt. Progress has slowed, but I am determined to maintain some tiny increment of momentum on this project. That’s block 8, above, and #9 is another rendition of the same foundation:
Nine blocks seems like a nice number for a mosaic. Here’s what’s done so far:
Oooh, so pretty: only 27 more blocks to go!
Good thing I’m not aiming to get it finished this summer.
And look what just came out of the dryer:
Six more large blocks, quilted and washed and soft and cuddly… these will get sewn up into more pillow covers for the Etsy shop. Most likely not until next weekend, or later. Getting them to this stage feels like enough progress for now… desk work calls.
